Oil-filled distribution transformers for Himachal

Most outdoor yards in the BBN estates run on an oil-filled distribution transformer. Jaybee builds them from 10 kVA to 2.5 MVA, single or three phase, for system voltages up to 33 kV.

Efficiency choices

Every rating can be ordered at any energy efficiency level from EEL1 to EEL5 under IS 1180, with a CRGO or amorphous metal core. For a plant on three shifts, a higher EEL usually pays back through lower no-load loss.

Hill-site points

For sites well above the plains, tell us the altitude so the insulation and cooling can be checked, and mention any narrow road on the last stretch so the tank size and lifting points suit it.
